Artist Statement:
I have been working as a full time sculptor/artist for 22 years and have been working out
of my studio Stone Street Arts at 510 Stone Street Great Bend, Kansas for over 20 years. I began
my sculpting career as a stone sculptor but have produced many pieces in Bronze, Clay, and
Wood. I feel that each medium has its’ own set of advantages and that having experience in
each of them allows me the opportunity to create sculptures that are just right for my clients
and myself. As a commissioned artist I enjoy being the conduit for my clients in creating a
sculpture that tells the story and evokes the emotion that they want to tell and feel. At the
same time I allow myself the artistic freedom to create a unique piece of art that is reflective of
my artistic vision and style.
